The lecture conducted by Ms. Soni (CEO, NASSCOM) was very informative it gave a lot of insight on socially responsible organizations. The experiences shared by her gave a first-hand account of socially responsible Indian Corporate and their policies/opinion towards being a sustainable organization. This is in reference to the seminar which held on 12th October 2012. The guest lecturer emphasize mainly on social responsibility of the Corporate which is a very important aspect for any business to survive and grow in this competitive world. I am enormously appreciative and privileged as a part of the guest lecture by Mr. Kamal Singh, Director, All India Management Association (AIMA) at our campus and I was impressively inspired by his words as well as his thoughts on challenges in the business world and qualities required to be a successful and dynamic manager. Many facts discussed and argued in the point of view of industrialist outlook. We all had a great conversation and even we came to know more about many industries owners’ with their passion to be on top most lists in commerce. And we were very thankful by having him in our institution for creating our ideas more concrete for future conception.

During his interaction, he touched upon the various aspects of IT and its application in Banking and Financial Sector. The key deliverable from his talk was as how IT is integrating in BFSI segment and its key role in determining the success and failure of such businesses.

In continuation to our efforts for facilitating industry learning and knowledge enrichment for the students we had one of industry thought leaders, Mr. Aquil Busrai at our campus on Monday, October 3, 2011 as part of the Corporate Connect Series at GDGWI.
Mr. Aquil Busrai is the former Executive Director - Human Resources of IBM India and Chief Executive Officer at Aquil Busrai Consulting. This was an interactive and knowledge sharing session which was an excellent learning opportunity for our students. Mr. Busrai shared his learning from his vast knowledge and experience across different facets of an organization which added immense value and even newer dimensions to their though process.

We had a very healthy and knowledgeable discussion on the present HR processes along with basic parameters like "what employers are looking for in terms of skills, experience and values". As part of the Corporate Connect Series at GDGWI, Mr. Avadhesh Dixit, Global Head-Human Resources at CMC Limited (A Tata Enterprise) visited the campus on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 for an interactive learning session with the students. Mr. Dixit in his session shared the growth story of CMC Limited, Critical Jobs and Career Path in the IT Sector and the expectations of corporate India from emerging leaders of the future. The session initially was an informal one but later became the two way communication, with lots of our queries answered very effectively by Mr. Dixit. The main focus of the session was more on the job analysis and the culture of the company in the sense of recruitment.
