Professor Kim Anne Menezes PhD

Professor Kim Anne Menezes, Dean: G D Goenka World Institute | Lancaster University, holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin (USA). She also holds an MS (Applied Science) from Bowling Green State University (USA) and a BSc (Statistics) from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai (India).
Kim’s research interest is in the application of statistical modeling in business decision-making. Kim has published or co-published in academic journals such as Research in Higher Education, Journal of Academic and Business Ethics, and Environmental Science and Technology.
Kim commenced her academic career in 1999 as Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati (USA). Post her assignment with the University of Cincinnati she took up the position of Associate Manager (Research and Development Group) at Nielsen in Cincinnati (USA), a globally leading market research company. At Nielsen, she was responsible for creating and maintaining models for forecasting and trend analyses; preparing specifications for programming teams to implement new forecasting models for Nielsen’s core applications; and providing support to end-users on the mathematics underpinning these forecasting models. After a highly successful career in Nielsen (USA) for nine years, Kim relocated to India. She joined G D Goenka World Institute | Lancaster University in 2011.
