Mr. Atul Ahuja, Vice President of Apollo Hospitals, visited GDGWI campus on 10th April 2015 for recruitment management trainees in healthcare retail. Apollo is a large and reputed Indian hospital chain founded by Dr Prathap Reddy in 1983. It has hospitals in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, Mauritius, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. Several of the Group’s hospitals have been among the first in India to receive international healthcare accreditation by America-based Joint Commission International. The Group has developed services in telemedicine. With 71 centers throughout India, Apollo is now the largest telemedicine provider in India.
This opportunity, introduced by Associate Professor Ashwani Goel was overseen by faculty mentor Associate Professor T. P. Singh. A number of students were shortlisted for potential placement in the organisation.
