All applications are processed as they are received and admissions are closed when seats are full. Students are encouraged to apply early to ensure a seat in the programme. Obtaining the Application Form Download Application Form OR Send a demand draft of Rs.1000 in the name of GD Goenka World Institute at N 85 Connaught Place New-Delhi 110001 and the prospectus along with the admission application form will be sent to you by courier. Completing the Application Form If you have downloaded the application form from the website, you can complete the form and send it at the address indicated on the form. Ensure that you have enclosed all the documents and the Demand Draft for Rs.1000 drawn in favor of the GD Goenka World Institute made payable at New Delhi If you have requested the prospectus and the application form by sending a draft of Rs.1000. You should complete the application form once received and send it back to address indicated on the application form along with all the enclosures. (You do not have to send a demand draft for Rs.1000 again) Submitting the Application Form Duly filled in Application Forms together with self-certified copies of mark sheets/testimonials should be sent to the following address for processing: GD Goenka World Institute N-85 Connaught Place. New Delhi 110001 Incomplete Forms & / or forms with missing Annexures, photocopies of mark sheets, will be rejected. No addition subsequently will be allowed and a new Form has to be submitted in this case. The Form cost will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever. Eligibility for Postgraduate Programmes - For M.Sc. Management and the M.Sc Management and Law the admission is based on a minimum of 60 percent marks in graduation examination. Those appearing for their final year of graduation will be given provisional admission based on previous academic performance.
- For the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), students must have a minimum of 55 percent marks in graduation with any stream. Those who have taken the CAT, MAT and the GMAT exams with the following cutoffs are exempt from entrance exams (CAT 70 percentile; MAT 600 and GMAT 500). If you have not appeared for any of the tests or your cutoff is below what is listed above, you will be required to take the entrance exam followed by interview and/or group discussion.
Eligibility for Undergraduate Programmes 1 For all undergraduate programs such as the BA Hons Economics, BA Hons Business Economics, BBA Business Studies and the B.Sc. Business Computing and Information Systems the following procedure is followed. - Students appearing for Class 12th Examination will be given provisional admissions based on their Class 10th performance.
- Students having 70 percent or more marks on the class 12 examination with any stream are given direct admission in the programme.
- Students with marks between 60-69% will have to take an entrance exam to maintain their eligibility for admission. Each application reviewed and is considered for admission on a case by case basis only.
Admission Process - After your application has been received, it will be processed within 10 working days.
- Eligible applicants will be informed about the status of their application within 12 working days and will be informed of the date, time and venue of the admission procedure. (Written test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview).
- Eligible applicants could be given alternate dates on request so as to give them sufficient flexibility to appear for other test and exams.
Offer of Admission - If you are offered admission to the programme of your choice, you will be informed of the same by email followed by an official letter of admission.
- All selected applicants will get the letter of admission which will be sent by courier. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be mentioned in the admission letter.
- Offer of admission will be valid only for the specific programme opted by the candidate as well as for the same academic session. Admission may be given provisionally as may be specified in the letter. The offer of admission will automatically stand cancelled if the conditions are not fulfilled by the specified time.
- Failure to pay the fee within the specified date or report for classes after payment of fee will entail cancellation of admission.
