Career overview

Amit Gupta has 13 years teaching and research experience at different higher education institutions in India. He started his career in 2002 as a lecturer at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Bhopal. He worked there for more than 5 years. In 2007, he took up the position as Assistant Professor and Head of Department at Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad. In 2012, he assumed duties as Associate Professor at Rawal Institute of Engineering & Technology. In 2015, he moved to G D Goenka World Institute-Lancaster University.

His research interests are in the areas theory of machines and mechanisms, compliant joints and system and product design.

Amit Gupta is pursuing PhD in machine design at National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra. He completed his Master of Technology from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal and Bachelor of Technology from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur.

Mr. Amit Gupta completed BTech from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur in the field of production engineering and management. Thereafter, he completed a Masters in Technology degree at the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra on the topic “Dynamic Analysis of Compliant Joint”.

He began his career as a lecturer at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal in 2002 and rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer. In 2007 he joined Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department. Thereafter, he took up a position as an Associate Professor at Rawal Institute of Engineering & Technology. His research areas are theory of machines & mechanisms, compliant joints and system and product design.
