Career overview

Roopa  joined Goenka World Institute Lancaster University in January 2014 as Assistant Professor – OB & HR. She has more than 12 years’ experience inclusive of industry and academia. Roopa is the co-editor for the AI Resource Column – AI Practitioner (Appreciative Inquiry online journal) published from UK. As a practitioner in the domain of learning and development her focus is to align business needs with learning strategies using the appreciative inquiry approach. Her academic and research interest include Organizational Learning, Appreciative Inquiry for Organizational Development, and Spirituality. She has also developed content for training programs and academic modules. Immediately prior to joining GDGWI, Roopa worked with for profit and not-for-profit organizations and has been engaged as a practitioner in appreciative inquiry. She was actively engaged in teaching and training assignments as well as content development.
