The faculty at GDGWI appreciate that teaching is a co-operative and collaborative process. They have the skill and understanding to engage the individual student’s mind. They recognise the need to be flexible while adjusting their style to the students’ needs. They are well practised in many types of teaching methods depending on the information they are trying to communicate. GDGWI educators have acquired experience all around the world. They have studied, trained and worked in North America, Western Europe, India, Far and South East Asia and elsewhere. The success of the students is largely due to the continually evolving and effective teaching tools and methods applied by the faculty. Many of the faculty have had their research published and presented in reputed journals and conferences in India and abroad. The international character and standards of teaching at GDGWI is regularly invigorated by frequent teaching visits by Lancaster University faculty. These visits are valuable because they refresh the teaching pool with new and different perspectives. They also make major contributions to the intellectual growth of the entire campus community. The students also benefit immensely from regular visits made by a wide group of well-known and senior industry professionals. Their hands-on knowledge and recognised thought leadership add to the breadth and depth of the student’s learning experience. Quietly underpinning all this are the highly trained institute staff supporting the Institute’s education endeavours.
