Under the Management 3 Years Undergraduate BBA Course we offer specialisation in the 3rd years
This three-year full-time degree is one of Lancaster University’s foremost undergraduate programs. It aims to develop skills to think numerically and apply statistics to analyse data, apply systems based thought processes and develop problem solving skills.
BSc Management and Information Technology
This three-year full-time degree purviews the development, management, organisation and use of information technology within and between organisations. It gives you the ability to apply information technology to business situations, evaluate technical knowledge and confidently take on project - and team - management in IT - related business scenarios.
BA (Hons) Management and Entrepreneurship
This three-year full-time degree places entrepreneurship in a broad social and historical context and fosters an understanding of the nature of the relationship between the entrepreneur and the broader society.
BBA Business Studies
This three-year full-time degree offers wide-ranging choices that enable you to customise your degree. In your first year you choose which key management areas you would like to study - one of them will continue through your degree. The other specialism(s) start in your second year. You also select many additional courses from a very wide range of options to become a management generalist or specialise in a particular area.
Running through the degree are the focused, core modules which offer a fascinating overview of business studies, enhance your shared sense of programme identity, but leave plenty of space for choice. These include courses in business strategy, leadership and ethics. You work in teams and groups through programme-specific away days, business games and the presentation of practical projects.
BA (Hons) Business Economics
The BA (Hons) Business Economics course provides a strong foundation in economic theories and principles but with a particular focus on examining their relevance to business and managerial situations. Students will be asked to analyse the international economic environment and to assess the impact of external factors on micro and macroeconomic performance and public policy. This curriculum allows students to study economics whilst leaving sufficient space for Business Studies.
BA (Hons) Marketing and Advertising
This degree adds a special focus on the theory and practice of advertising. The course has been designed by Lancaster University Management School staff with experience in international advertising agencies. This is a three-year degree with opportunities to study related subjects within the scheme.
The topics studied include the psychology of persuasion and attitude change, semiotic analysis of symbolic communication, the transfer of cultural meaning, statistical methods, strategic advertising management, creative strategy development, media research and planning, advertising research and campaign evaluation, and advertising planning using computer simulation technology.
