M.Sc. in Management (with Marketing) – One year Full-Time
Lancaster University’s one year full time MSc in Management with Marketing pathway, aims to meet the needs of graduates who may not have a business/management background but wish to pursue an advanced management degree in management and marketing.
The program provides a multi disciplinary perspective to the principles, problems and techniques of management with a focus in marketing. The teaching and learning methods are highly practise oriented and include project and group work. It aims to develop skills in team dynamics; conducting meetings effectively; prioritizing, scheduling and keeping to deadlines; and soft skills to competently negotiate, persuade and influence stakeholders.
The program is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), United Kingdom. Students who successfully complete the MSc in Management could qualify to pursue CIM’s Professional Diploma in Marketing.
Program Objectives
Analytical and decision making skills drawn from disciplines such as Accountancy & Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management and Marketing
Appreciation of the theory and practise of marketing
Understanding of interrelationships between different business disciplines
Knowledge of skills in managing change and team dynamics
Competency in the application of analytical and statistical techniques in management decision making
Capability in writing succinct reports and making presentations
Skills in undertaking research projects

Eligibility for Admission
The students are selected on the basis of performance in:
Undergraduate degree programs (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BE etc.)
GDGWI’s entrance examination (Applicants who have successfully completed CAT, GMAT, MAT may be exempt from taking the entrance exam)
Personal/Group Interview
Applicants are expected to have minimum 60% average marks in their undergraduate degree program.
