The industry visit to NSE was an extremely informative one. The session included a talk on NSE itself as well as the different financial instruments with a special focus on derivatives. The session also dealt with commodities. They also explained us how a broker firm is actually formed and on what basis a company is listed in the NSE. They showed us how actually a trading is done on software and also made us understand how the software actually works in rel time. Overall the experience has given a complete insight if how actually NSE operates.

Being a marketing student, I had my reservations about visiting the NSE but that perception changed once I was there. The delegates took special care in making sure that everyone left the session on the same page. The session was started with a brief introduction about the company which later moved on to a brief description on the different trading procedures. The hosts did not shy away from sharing some tips and tricks which was especially entertaining.
